Surf Rescue Certificate

At age 13 you can become a Cadet Surf Lifesaver by completing your Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC). Over approximately 6 weeks, typically held with mid-week theory and weekend practical application, you will be provided with the skills and knowledge to be able to participate as a Cadet in Life Saving operations and join a patrol team at North Curl Curl Beach.

  • First aid
  • Communications
  • Rescue techniques

You must be at least 13 years of age to complete your Surf Rescue Certificate.

Course Dates Sunday 9th February 2020 – No longer proceeding due to lack of candidates
Timetable Sunday Afternoons 2-5pm (no training over State championship weekend)
Assessment 26th March 2020
Pre-requisites 13 years old at time of assessment, 200m pool swim in 5 minutes
Cost $ 50 which includes all course materials. Note Excludes Membership fees which are additional
