Since inception in 2011 the ‘Curly’ Maljamhas celebrated the Evolution of Longboarding – with pre 40’s and 50’s boards, the Single Fin logs and the High Performance style, the event proudly unites the longboard surfing universe.

Touring W.S.L. longboard professionals including 2011/12/17 World Champion Taylor Jensen; 2009/2014 World Champion Harley Ingleby; 2006 World Champion Josh Constable and returning to defend her Open Women’s Maljam2017 title is W.S.L. competitor Nava Young – mixing it up with our own local champs Jason Livingston, Sean Dry, Tom Leach, Paul O’Grady and Lawrence Harkness.
With this international pedigree, returning champs, Sydney’s best longboarding locals, vintage timber surfing displays and great food, this years DYRSL Maljamcomp is set to be another great day of entertainment for all on Saturday April 27th
